Zanzibar has hundreds of individual artisans, artisan families and small family workshops, cooperatives, women's groups and small scale producers that produce our thousands of fairly traded handicrafts, home accessories and museum quality art.  Most of the items we sell come with a biography of the artisan or group that produced it along with a history of the piece.

We cannot list all our artisans here, however we will regularly feature some of our artisans in these pages - as well as in biographies within the pages on specific items.  We will list artisan profiles by COUNTRY and not by name or artform.
